Julian Humphreys is an executive coach based in Toronto, Canada, working with organizational leaders, startup founders and business families. He is the founder and former editor-in-chief of Philosophy of Coaching: An International Journal (philosophyofcoaching.org). Prior to becoming a coach he was an independent communications consultant for twenty years, working in the UK, USA and Canada. Julian earned his PhD from the University of Toronto in 2010 and has presented at international conferences, including at UNESCO and Harvard. He is trained and certified in Co-Active Coaching, with additional training in Organizational Relationship and Systems Coaching (ORSC), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Existential Psychotherapy, and Psychoanalysis. He is a Certified Practitioner of the Leadership Circle Profile 360 and Leadership Culture Survey and holds the Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF).
