Executive Coaching has numerous areas to be aware of due to the dynamics of working inside an organization. We are engaging not only with our Coachee, but also with Sponsors, Stakeholders, Managers and possibly others.
We will be taking a closer look at 5 important areas of ethical awareness that can support you in having a successful Executive Coaching engagement.
In this ethics specific training, we will be discussing the following topics:
- Setting yourself up for success before you sign the contract
- Agreements and addendums to agreements
- Handling & Documenting Confidentiality
- Working with leaders and their subordinates
- Keeping it Ethical with Communication Tools – Progress Reports – ROI Reports
This training will be an open discussion so we may tap into the vast array of wisdom in the training room and include time for Q and A throughout.
We will be reviewing an Executive Coaching Dilemma, applying The ICF Code OF Ethics to determine “potential breaches code” and the various opportunities for “course correction.”
This ethic training session is designed to increase awareness around ethical hot spot that could lead to a black and white breach of ethics code if unaware.
1.5 hours of ICF Ethics Specific CCE’s will be issued for completion of this training.
Tina Elliot MBA, PCC, BCC, is a member and a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF), and a Board-Certified Coach through the Center for Credentialing & Education. She holds an MBA, in Business Administration and has served as an ICF Global Committee Member for over a decade. She is a faculty member at Institute for Life Coach Training and The Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas.
Her work with the private sector includes Fortune 500 companies specializing in corporate manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, high tech industries and utility companies as well as many years of experience supporting small business owners.
Tina is a Coaching Ethics Specialist with over 15 years of past experience as a Board Member on the ICF’s Independent Review Board processing ethical complaints and updating the ICF Code of Ethics. Tina is passionate about ethics and provides in depth ethics training for coaches so they may learn how to Stay Out of Ethical Hot Water as a coach.
