Special Interest Groups

The SIG meetings will be held either in person or virtually, and are intended to offer ICFLA members and non-members more connection points with ICFLA and other coaches around the world.

ICFLA members can register for one or more SIGs for free.

Non ICFLA members registration fee is $10 per session. However, we invite you to become an ICFLA member ($75) and register for these SIGs for free during the term of 1 year from the date you become a member. In addition to register for these SIGs for free, ICFLA members receive great other benefits listed here.

Most often he works alone as the head of Essential Communications. But often he subcontracts to colleagues. He was a founding coach at Corporate Coaching International and is a senior coach with Arden Consulting, Aria Consulting and Executive Coaching Connections. He coaches in-person in the U.S. and via phone and video internationally.

Supervision is a partnership in which the coach brings his/her work to a supervisor to explore challenges, ethical dilemmas, emotional responses and how the personal may intrude into the professional.

Damian Goldvarg, Ph.D., MCC, ESIA has thirty years of experience in executive assessment and coaching, leadership development, talent management, facilitation, strategic planning, and team building services. Originally from Argentina, he has extensive experience working with people from different cultures and social backgrounds. He has worked with individuals and organizations in over sixty countries, including the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia, offering services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

He is a Master Certified Coach and received his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Alliant University in California. He is also an Accredited Coach Supervisor (ESIA) and facilitates certifications on Professional Coaching (ACTP), Mentor Coaching and Coaching Supervision. He was the 2013-2014 ICF Global President.

Through his work with multinational Fortune 100 companies, governments and community-based organizations Damian’s coaching and consulting services have realized extraordinary results for his clients. "Can you prove your leadership development program is actually working? Organizations are paying top dollar to send their employees through training and coaching programs and rarely see a measurable and sustainable return on their investment. That’s because traditional leadership development programs are one-hit-wonders. They cover an overwhelming number of topics in one or two days and rarely provide ongoing reinforcement. On top of that, there is usually no true measurement beyond the typical smiley-sheet evaluations at the end of the training sessions. It doesn’t have to be that way. We can and we must do better. Mary Miller, J.D., PCC, SPHR, SHRM-SCP,  is an expert in business building and has been coaching executives, managers, emerging leaders, and forward-thinking individuals since 2001. She brings unique perspectives to her clients based on her past experiences, including her work as an attorney and a human resources executive. Mary has broad coaching experience, ranging from an entrepreneur with a product sourced sustainably from West African women farmers (Whole Foods Market now carries this product), to senior staff of The International Council on Clean Transportation (this non-profit was a pivotal player in the 2015 VW emissions testing scandal).

She also offers group coaching, including her Best Boss Ever™ group coaching program, for teams and executive groups; group coaching usually includes use of the DiSC™ and other assessments.

Jamee Tenzer, PCC is an Executive Coach, Trainer,and Mentor. For 17 years she has worked with Executives in industries including entertainment, non-profit, design, and technology.

Jamee served for 10 years as a Trainer for the International Coach Academy, and co-created three ICF Accredited courses; Deeper Conversations Coaching, Mentor Coach Certification and Real Coaching Sessions Unplugged.

Jason Sackett, PCC, LCSW, CEAP is a professionally trained coach supervisor based in Los Angeles, but supervising coaches across the United States and Europe whose clients work in finance, manufacturing, retail, legal, health care, and education industries.

Jason has over 12 years of formal coaching experience in corporate, university, health care, and small business settings. He has 25 years of total post-graduate experience including coaching, coaching supervision, mentor coaching, employee assistance, management consultation, training and development, clinical social work, and clinical supervision.

Belinda Teitel is a leadership coach, certified mentor coach, and a coach supervisor (certificate expected in June 2018).  Her experience spans the corporate sector, city, county and the federal government, and the nonprofit sector.  Belinda was instrumental in introducing and expanding the use of coaching among the nonprofit sector in the Los Angeles area by initiating an affordable coach training program at the Southern California Center for Nonprofit Management.

The program, presented by Dr. Damian Goldvarg, Master Certified Coach, successfully graduated over 100 new coaches in 7 years and is commonly utilized as a capacity-building tool in these sectors.
