Are you looking to generate more clients or business? Or to hear expert presenters business tools? Or perhaps you’re curious about coaching other business owner clients. No matter where you are if building your coaching business is on your radar, this is your SIG!

Coaching works. Most organizations have successfully—and sometimes remarkably—transformed the attitudes and behaviors of employees who participate in coaching. And we know that those transformations have had a positive impact on those organizations. But can we—and do we—demonstrate that impact on our organizations? Prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt?

That’s the challenge of the next five years. To grow and to thrive, to retain and grow coaching budgets, as coaches or managers of coaching programs and as an industry, we need to demonstrate, in black-and-white, on paper, exactly how valuable coaching is to organizations. How coaching helps their bottom line.

Learning to measure the return-on-investment (ROI) of our work, and demonstrating to organizations exactly what they are getting for their investment of time and money, is the next evolution in coaching.

In this session, we will talk in-depth about the coaching ROI; how, when, and why to measure it. We’ll illustrate how measurement, including financial, come to life in a case study.

Attend this session and receive a Money Talk Framework to help you get started.

Key Learning Takeaways:

  • Learn why ROI will be critical to retaining and growing budget.
  • How to facilitate a coaching engagement for monetary impact and ROI at three critical points.
  • Learn how to calculate ROI.

About Ellen Cohen
Ellen Cohen, J.D., CPCC, is an executive coach certified by CTI and the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is an enhanced practitioner in Conversational Intelligence (CIQ). She focuses her coaching on senior executives and lawyers across industries (e.g., banking, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, consulting, entertainment and healthcare) to enhance their professional impact, build high-performance skills and cultivate wellbeing and resilience.  Prior to becoming a coach, Ellen spent over 20 years as an entertainment attorney in business affairs at Disney, Showtime, Sony, Fox, and Microsoft. She also holds certifications in yoga, meditation, reiki and breath work. She received her BA from Brandeis University and her JD from Emory University School of Law.

About Kelly Wendorf
Kelly Wendorf, PCC, MECD is an executive coach, motivational speaker, author, transformational mentor, and socially responsible entrepreneur. She is the Founding Partner of EQUUS, an innovative leadership development organization that she runs with her partner J. Scott Strachan in Santa Fe, New Mexico. EQUUS uniquely combines neuroscience, systems theory, contemplative wisdom, attachment theory, somatic processes and nature-based wisdom in their coaching approach that is both experiential and transformative.

Kelly’s early experiences were vitally shaped by the natural and ancient world around her where she learned a way of listening to forces within people, nature and moments. This unconventional education grants her a gift of perception that liberates untapped potential and hidden gifts within individuals and organizations, helping them to solve problems differently through a wisdom-informed and wholeness approach.

Throughout her life she has lived and worked around the world, studying with many spiritual and Indigenous leaders in India, Africa, Indonesia, and Australia. Such immersion in multi-cultural perspectives has honed a passion for creating a new narrative in the human condition, empowering organizations, leaders and high-performance individuals to wield meaningful change in their communities and in the world. She has worked inside a wide spectrum of clientele – from Amazon to some of the most underserved communities.

Kelly founded, edited and published Kindred magazine (Australia), an evidence-based publication that explores the social, cultural and biological underpinnings of a compassionate society. Here she spent 15 years immersed in the field of neuroscience and neuropsychology and its application to social justice and transformative cultural change.

An intuitive lifelong horsewoman and gifted educator, Kelly developed The EQUUS Experience┬« — an equine-assisted learning process — in response to her frustration with the limitations of conventional learning methodologies. The process works with horses as co-facilitators, to illicit breakthrough learning through engaging in a 56-million-year-old system – the horse herd. The work, grounded in evidence-based research into the neurobiological approach to learning, engages the limbic pathway where the re-wiring of emotional and psychological habits is possible, translating into lasting change and growth. The EQUUS Experience┬« is trending as a powerful differentiator in organizational change circles.
