Description:

Recognizing patterns of oppression is a critical element of a coach’s DEI competency. We have all internalized these oppressive forces and need tools to counteract them. How can we be aware of their impact in our coaching conversations? How might we shift from awareness and resistance to creative redress and even inspiration?

In this teleclass, participants will be introduced to Bahia’s step-by-step process for cultivating new pathways and inroads into an inclusive mindset using the Core Alignment and Emotional Wisdom training tools which are foundational to her DEI approach.

Takeaways from this event include:

  • Increased confidence in identifying patterns of oppression.
  • Increased competence in proactively addressing our own internalized oppression and increased skillfulness responding to biased, oppressive remarks.
  • Increased joy of tapping into our natural human compassion and desire to be authentically, spontaneously, and responsibly inclusive.
