Coaching Cafe Conversations are monthly gatherings with an aim to collaborate, share and reflect on new coaching models, trends and concepts.  Our Virtual Coaching Cafe Conversations are loosely organized to focus on developing organic and fruitful conversations that are less about coach development and more about community. With that, we always come with a topic should our community attendees decide to spend the hour discussing it.  Our September Cafe topic was inspired by Pamela McLean’s book, Self as Coach, Self as Leader

In her book, she shares, “As a coach or a leader, we start at home. Understanding our internal landscape is key to strengthening our capacities to build strong relationships that allow us to do our best work. This book focuses on the power of the ‘use of self’ as our most important tool as coach and leader; and the true differentiator in our effectiveness. This work examines the key meta-skills needed to be at our best and delves into the underlying concepts that inform how we develop in our early years and create.” You do not need to have read the book, but if you have, please bring your lunch and do come prepared to discuss.
