As coaches, we don’t heal. We look at the now and future. The past may shed a little light, but we don’t hang out there. I also am super-reflective of where that line is and moving. Am I going to do harm to my client, potentially, if I move into this? Am I retraumatizing my client by diving into this? The present and future focus helps me with all of that. 01:10:29 Jeremy Walker, PCC: Frederic Laloux: Reinventing Organizations 01:11:01 Tracy Winter: Replying to "It’s obvious that yo..." I think it’s a question of coaching range, which can be grown. We need to be aware of where our growing edges are and how they’re changing. Our own coaching and coach supervision will help with that as well as deeper learning about the things we’re talking about here. Some things that help me notice I may be beyond my current capacity: Do the client and I get each other? Or am I continually misunderstanding? Am I able to stay regulated while working with this client? What’s the level of frustration, both mine and my client’s? Sometimes it’s time to refer, and it’s great to be aware of that. Let me know if I can help further on this. 01:12:16 Sherylle Tan: Reacted to "I can’t speak for al..." with ❤️ 01:12:33 Sherylle Tan: Reacted to "I can recommend this..." with 👍 01:21:52 Jan Ginsberg: Often people are required to fill out the application before they are able to talk to a person. 01:25:50 Karen Jones: Sharing recent podcast that had some interesting insights on neurodiversity in the workplace: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-power-of-neurodivergence-in-the-workplace-w/id1677016372?i=1000676122084 01:28:00 Tracy Winter: Replying to "Sharing recent podca..."
