Description:

The intellectual/human capitals, the ideas and people aren’t transposable from one culture to another. The values of planning and management, the specificities of each place, of each manager, of each team should be considered and respected in their individuality for them to gain ground and flourish. Although it is implicit that Coaching regards these statements, as Coaching is focus on client’s agenda, client’s needs, client’s values…, Coaching is delivered by Coaches that are not more than human.

As Coaching is spreading around the world, we are observing some discussions around cultural awareness in Coaching and about the applicability of Coaching Frameworks within each context. Although the integration of a cultural perspective into Coaching is very much at the ‘pioneering’ stage.

Speaker:

Alexandra is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Coach Mentor (CCM), and a Facilitator for Intercultural Presence. She has a 26-year career with 17 years in senior roles in public and private companies, and more than 2,300 hours of executive coaching in corporate environments.

Alexandra has been studying, working and researching in global environments since a young age. In the last years she has specialized herself in intercultural leadership. She is also an author and a researcher, because she has the belief that reflection and research-based work should be holding hands with action. As most as she believes that sharing and volunteer work enrich us as human beings, and therefore, volunteer work is also part of her schedule.
