Topic: Properly Train to be a Writer

Speaker: Kim O’Hara

CCEs: 1.5 Resource Development

Date: Wednesday, May 10, 2023

Time: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM Pacific Time

Becoming an author is fundamentally about writing well, and few people spend the time necessary to practice a craft. You can’t just fly a plane for the first time without lessons. You could but you would probably crash! Same with books… while less perilous, the act of publishing a book written by an amateur with no writing training is the same set up for a crash and burn.
