JOIN ICFLA IN REIMAGINING THE FUTURE: INTERNATIONAL COACHING WEEK 2022

Weeklong Lineup of Public Events to Celebrate the Power and Impact of Professional Coaching

LOS ANGELES – The International Coaching Federation Los Angeles Chapter (ICFLA) will celebrate International Coaching Week May 16-20 with a weeklong lineup of public events celebrating the power and impact of professional coaching.

The theme of this year’s International Coaching Week is “Reimagining the Future.” In recent years, coaches have played a critical role in helping people navigate change, find new career paths, and become more resilient. Now, as we are finding more stability in the new normal, we are in the perfect position to reimagine the future — and coaching can help us realize it.

“International Coaching Week is when we open our doors to Los Angeles-area coaches, people curious about becoming coaches, and anyone in the field of leadership to experience our amazing educational programming and welcoming community,” said Carrie Williams, 2022 ICFLA President. “As leaders in all industries continue to navigate through turbulence and change, our theme of reimagining the future could not be more timely, or necessary.”

The highlight of the week will be the C3 Chapter Event, a conversation on “Reimagining Leadership for the Future of Los Angeles.” On Wednesday, May 18, this panel conversation between Los Angeles coaches and leaders will take place at the USC Marshall School of Business as well as virtually. All are welcome to attend.

Speakers will include:

  • Matt Auron, Managing Director and Co-Founder, Evolution
  • Alma Burke, Director, USC Department of Public Safety
  • Carol Geffner, Professor and Director of the Master of Leadership Program, USC
  • Wendy Leshgold, President and Co-Founder, Fast Forward Group
  • Andy Ortiz, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer, Cedars-Sinai
  • Natalie Samarjian, President and CEO, Coro of Southern California

“Since its founding exactly 20 years ago this month, ICFLA has been the go-to resource for professional coaches in the Los Angeles region,” Williams said. “As we enter our third decade, ICFLA is leading the way toward reimagining a future where coaching is accessible, inclusive, and ingrained into leadership so that we can meet tomorrow’s challenges.”
