In this workshop, we will discuss conflict, the emotions that arise, and how to support our clients in both navigating conflict with emotional intelligence and seeing the opportunity to strengthen relationships through conflict. We will explore how to help clients notice the seeds of conflict, own their part, see the stories behind the conflict and even to use the conflict to create new choices, boundaries, and better relationships. Using emotions, or using the stories clients tell to elicit emotions, we can support improved communication and deeper connection. Open your minds as coaches in order to support your clients in being more open to seeing new ways through conflict.
- Review models of conflict
- Learn new tools to help clients see the stories they are telling and the emotions beneath them
- Find new ways to support clients to connect their stories to unlock limiting beliefs
- See the roots of conflict and learn how to support clients to untangle their stories to take ownership and build connection
