Description
Regrounding Coaching in Emotional Intelligence is a 90-minute interactive session designed for coaches who want to deepen their presence, insight, and impact by returning to the foundations of emotional intelligence. Rather than adding more tools, this session helps coaches strengthen self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management as core capacities that support effective coaching. Through reflection, discussion, and practical application aligned with ICF Core Competencies, participants learn to work skillfully with emotions as valuable data—expanding choice, cultivating trust and safety, and enhancing their ability to evoke client awareness in meaningful, sustainable ways.
Key Takeaways:
1. Apply emotional intelligence principles to enhance coaching presence, self-regulation, and relational awareness
2. Demonstrate increased self-awareness of emotional signals and internal reactions that influence coaching effectiveness
3. Integrate emotional awareness and regulation strategies to support trust, safety, and client agency in coaching conversations
4. Use emotional data to evoke client awareness without judgment, fixing, or over-identification
