Description

Have you ever worked with a neurodivergent client? Chances are you have, even if this information was not disclosed to you. While it is not necessary to become an expert in neurodiversity, it is important to recognize how it can impact clients within the realm of career coaching. Neurodivergent clients may struggle to recognize and articulate their strengths, needs, and motivators, or plan, organize, and prioritize their goals. Overlooking these challenges can lead to missed opportunities, unrealized potential, and decreased engagement, with a detrimental effect on career development.

This workshop covers the fundamentals of neurodiversity, explains how it can manifest in career coaching, and provides strategies for shifting your coaching approach to better support the success of neurodivergent clients.

Key Takeaways:

  • A basic understanding of neurodiversity.
  • Awareness of how neurodivergence can impact clients and coaching.
  • Simple coaching adjustments and strategies to support neurodivergent clients
