Panelist Bios

Tom Henschel

For more than 20 years, Tom Henschel has been coaching senior leaders to achieve The Look & Sound of Leadership™ at companies like Disney, Mattel, HP, and Citi.

The insight Tom has gained as an executive coach allows him to bring creative, experiential challenges to team meetings and off-sites. And the same timing, comedy, and energy that made him a successful actor on television and director in theatre distinguish the keynote speaking and corporate training he delivers on all aspects of communication skills.

The Look & Sound of Leadership, airing since 2008, is consistently cited as “What’s Hot” in the Business category on iTunes.

As a senior executive coach on the rosters of many coaching consortiums across the country, Tom is an active member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Association of Talent Development (ATD), which, in 2010, awarded him with their Lifetime Award for continuing contributions to the field of training and development.

Dave Stachowiak

Dave Stachowiak (STA-HOE-VEE-AAK) is the host of Coaching for Leaders, a top-rated podcast downloaded 25 million times. Apple Podcasts currently lists the show as the #1 search result for management and the #2 search result for leadership in the United States.

Dave has interviewed many talented thinkers, including New York Times bestselling authors Simon Sinek, Susan Cain, Adam Grant, Ambassador Susan Rice, Daniel Pink, Gretchen Rubin, General James Mattis, Daniel Goleman, Marshall Goldsmith, Seth Godin, Guy Raz, John Maxwell, Patrick Lencioni, and many others.

He’s also the founder of the Coaching for Leaders Academy, a year-long leadership development cohort. The Academy is an intimate group of managers, executives, and business owners who work personally with Dave and other participant leaders to develop their leadership excellence — and empower each other through global relationship building.

Dave’s credentials include a doctoral degree in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University, several international business leadership awards from Dale Carnegie, and graduation from Coach U. He serves on the board of the Global Center for Women & Justice at Vanguard University and co-hosts the Ending Human Trafficking podcast with longtime friend, Sandie Morgan.

Like most people, he’s never had it all figured out. Dave has been passed up for promotions, failed at launching his first business, and still fights through an occasional fear of speaking to people.

Anna Vocino

Anna Vocino is an actor, comic, voice-over-er, podcaster, and best-selling cookbook author of Eat Happy and Eat Happy Too. Celiac and gluten-free since 2002, Anna started a website to recreate gluten-free versions of comfort food favorites from her half-Italian, half-Southern Girl heritage.

In 2012, she partnered with the inimitable Vinnie Tortorich to co-host and produce the Fitness Confidential podcast, and her recipes these days are mostly free from sugars and grains — the Vinnie term is NSNG — No Sugars No Grains.

In her books, real food wins every time over counting calories and macros and eating fake diet shakes, powders, potions, and artificial sweeteners.

She likes hiking, books, cocktails, and Italy and loves her husband, daughter, and dog. If you laugh at her jokes, you’ll probably be fast friends. If you make her laugh, you’ll probably be best friends.
