Description
This Special Interest Group is a reflective learning space where trained coaches come together to deepen their practice through structured dialogue, feedback, and shared inquiry. In this group, participants bring real coaching cases, ethical dilemmas, and questions about their work, and explore them with the support of a qualified supervisor and peers. The focus is on increasing self‑awareness, refining coaching skills, and attending to the coach’s well-being, rather than on teaching a specific model or technique.
Through regular meetings, members:
👉 Engage in reflective case discussions to gain new perspectives on their client work.
👉 Explore parallel processes, boundaries, and ethical considerations in a confidential environment.
👉 Notice patterns in their own presence, triggers, and strengths as coaches.
This SIG is well‑suited for coaches who want to maintain high professional standards, gain deeper systemic understanding, and cultivate a sustainable, resourced coaching practice. Sessions typically blend group reflection, supervision methodologies (such as systemic or creative approaches), and space for individual supervision in the presence of others, so that everyone learns from each case.
