Description

In this session of the Emotional Intelligence Special Interest Group, guest speaker and practitioner Kevin Bush will lead us to explore how we can better support our clients as they navigate reactionary behaviors and situations in the workplace and employ empathy. Through his lens as a coach and emotional intelligence facilitator, Kevin will share his experiences, what he has seen as he has navigated leading his coaching and facilitation practice through Covid and into the post-Covid world, and he will lead us through an active conversation around the relevant themes he’s observed and begun focusing on in his practice. This session will be immersive and experiential as we discuss tools and tips for coaching clients through times of challenge and reactionary situations to employ emotional intelligence and integrate empathy even when these reactionary behaviors are tempting or are already in motion in our clients and/or those with whom they work.

Takeaways from the Event:

  • Discuss and practice new strategies to support clients navigating the post-Covid world.
  • Hear the experiences of a coach and EQ practitioner, the challenges they are observing, how they are navigating these challenges, and the themes they are seeing as relevant for clients and coaches.
  • Learn from a practitioner how to address reactionary situations and behaviors and support clients in employing empathy.
  • Experience new techniques and tools for supporting clients to be less reactionary and to engage with empathy.
