Description
Many team coaching models describe what drives team effectiveness, yet coaches are often left deciding how to apply these frameworks in practice.
In this session, we will explore six key factors that influence team performance and examine how they are reflected across several team coaching models, including Peter Hawkins’ 5C model, the PERILL model, the Team Edge model, and the Emergent Team Coaching model.
Rather than comparing models in theory, this session will focus on how team coaches can use these frameworks to interpret team dynamics, identify what matters most, and decide where to intervene.
Participants will engage in discussion and breakout work to explore how these factors show up in real coaching situations and how different models can inform coaching choices.
We will also briefly explore the distinction between team coaching and group coaching, and how this influences where the coach places attention.
Key takeaways:
🔹Identify key factors that influence team performance
🔹Recognize how different models reflect similar underlying dynamics
🔹Use multiple coaching lenses to interpret team situations
🔹Decide where to focus attention to create value as a team coach
🔹Distinguish between team coaching and group coaching
