Description
You don’t need a course platform, a polished curriculum, or every detail figured out before you begin building a group coaching program. You do need a clear idea of who the group is for, the shared challenge that brings participants together, the experience you want to create, and a practical way to test and improve it.
In this month’s Group & Team Coaching SIG, we will explore the essential components of a group coaching pilot, from defining the right cohort and setting expectations to creating meaningful peer conversation, gathering feedback, and closing the experience well. Using tools you likely already have, such as Zoom, email, calendar invitations, shared documents, chat, and simple forms, you’ll identify what needs to be designed and determine your next steps to move from idea to pilot. Yes, we’ll look at ways to leverage AI!
This session is designed for coaches who are considering, launching, refining, or relaunching a group coaching program. We will have one to two breakouts.
You will leave with:
- A clear group-program concept – A draft statement of who the group is for, the shared challenge that brings participants together, and the change the program supports.
- A practical pilot-design roadmap – A clear understanding of the core components to decide, including cohort criteria, session cadence, onboarding, agreements, participant experience, and closing, plus next-step actions to complete their own pilot design.
- A low-tech delivery and improvement plan – Practical ways to use familiar tools for intake, agreements, reflection, feedback, and measuring participant progress before, during, and after the program.
